Q: Why is alligator skin deemed so valuable?
A: The danger involved in securing the hide of one of nature's fiercest predators drives up the value, plain and simple.
However, what distinguishes JACOB TAYLOR from other exotic skin retailers is our approach to sourcing these hides. We seek out mature alligators close to the end of their lifecycle (in all of their "flawsome" glory). We do this to insure a one-of-a-kind accessory that is guaranteed to be unique. We believe that just as our flaws and experiences (as humans) make us uniquely ourselves, likewise, we apply this philosophy to our selection process in sourcing exotic skins.
